"The Medical Implications of Karate Blows". This was the first "Black Belt Thesis" for the IKKA in 1967. This is the classic work done by Brian C. Adams and still is the only extensive work on (24) Kenpo blows and their deadly results when performed on an opponent. The techniques are fundamental and common to Kenpo Karate practitioners. The medical drawings are well done and very specific for each blow. Each attack was timed using a state of the art device within 1/10th of a second. An overhead view is often used to illustrate an arc or shift in stance position. There is an extensive bibliography of medical texts used in the research project. And finally, there is a chapter on the three types of shock.
This classic work (with original photos, medical line drawings and text) is now available in ebook form.
